Whenever we can, we use examples from the class or from our own industry and certification auditing experiences in conducting food safety audits, third-party certification audits, managing food businesses, or preparing clients for SQF, BRC, and HACCP certification audits. Basically, we know what works and what doesn’t. We are auditors, so we know exactly what the auditors want to see.

Prerequisites
There are no formal entry requirements under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) to attain the nationally recognised units of competency.
Industry mandated HACCP Refresher Training
This refresher course is required every 3 years to ensure
professionals maintain current knowledge of the food safety environment, CODEX
Principles of HACCP, and the development and review of a documented HACCP Plan.
It aligns with training requirements set be major retailers such as Coles and Woolworths and reflects broader expectations across the food manufacturer sector. This course delivers a practical understanding of HACCP methodology and its real-world application within a business.
Note: This refresher course is only suitable for individuals who have previously completed accredited HACCP training.

Quality management for HACCP Team
The HACCP Training course will help you qualify to be part of the HACCP Team or become a HACCP Team Leader. HACCP Training conducted by an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) is a mandatory requirement of a number of certification standards.

ICS offers two different ways for people working in the food industry to refresh their HACCP training. The different ways are:
- 1 day Virtual or in-house Refresher training (Accredited)
- Self-paced HACCP online course (Non-Accredited)
