";This 1 day combination workshop is a shortened version of our 1-day Food Fraud Vulnerability and Food Defense Threat Assessment Workshops. The workshop is designed to equip delegates with the knowledge to assist with strategy and the design of a food fraud vulnerability plan including supply chain management risk factors, significance of risks and also the design of a Food Defense Threat Assessment Plan.
The course covers the understanding of the risk within the raw material supply chain and international distribution chains covering:
- requirements of international regulations, retailer standards, GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standards ie BRCGS/SQF/FSCC 22 000
- range of risk factors within a number of supply chains i.e. food fraud, animal liberationists, staff sabotage, cyber hacking, cargo theft, false claims
- case studies
- use of risk assessment methods for undertaking raw material food fraud vulnerability assessments and different risk assessment method for undertaking threat supply chain assessments
- how to undertake a site security assessment
The course is suitable for staff such as Senior Managers and Executives & Technical/Quality Managers, Logistic manager, Supply Chain Managers and Procurement Managers who carry out purchasing activities and make the purchasing decisions for companies.
Enabling them to be aware of the risk inherent within raw material and packaging supply chains & those staff hiring/firing, logistics/transport and security activities for companies.
This is a practical hands on workshop, without any exams or assessments. Each participant will receive an ICS Certificate of Attendance upon workshop completion.
